By way of introduction, I am a San Diego resident and native, have a wonderful wife and two great dogs, and work in the information technology field. More specifically, I work with the network and systems infrastructure at Emotient (formerly Machine Perception Technologies). Previously, I have worked in the higher-ed/not-for-profit sector at Point Loma Nazarene University and Shadow Mountain Ministries architecting major infrastructure components including the wired and wireless networks.

I am passionate about technology and enjoy working to see it utilized fully toward making people and organizations more productive. It is well understood that the contractor relies on the drill and hammer, day in and day out, to produce an incredible end product. The tools don’t do the work or determine the quality of the finished result, but instead they accelerate the work of the craftsman. In a similar way, I work to provide knowledge workers the tools they need to be most productive at the scale associated with large organizations. Understanding the significance and importance of excellent IT infrastructure in business motivates me to seek out major value adds for the customers I serve.
